Bio and Works

Valerie Hagenbush is channeling experiences garnered from a background that includes filmmaking, motherhood, and the medical field, into her current venture of writing fiction. Her debut novel Good-bye and Good Riddance was awarded third prize in the 2006 Arizona Authors Association Literary Contest. She holds a degree in Photography and Cinema from the Ohio State University, and a degree in Veterinary Technology from the University of Cincinnati. She and her husband, David Bauman, have lived in Surprise, Arizona for three years.
