Promotion starts before you begin writing and never ends. The time when publishers felt responsible for promoting their authors is long gone. Her published books include a standalone thriller, NEVER SAY DIE, and the Agatha, Anthony and Macacity Award-nominated Tracy Eaton mysteries. Her next publication will be THE ROSE IN THE SNOW: TALES OF MISCHIEF AND MAYHEM, a collection of her short stories, due out on Autumn '08.After years of publication, nothing has taught Kris as much about the book business as owning her own independent bookstore. And everyday she sees authors making mistakes when it comes to their interactions with booksellers. She will share the view from the bookseller side of the business, and offer insights on how to get your books into stores.

LIFELONG LEARNING CENTER - Sun City West, 13815 W. Camino del Sol, Sun City West. Next door to Arizona Office of Tourism Visitor Center, 13823 W. Camino del Sol. Lifelong Learning is on Camino del Sol between Meeker and Spanish Garden or further east R.H.Johnson. MAP
From Grand---enter by turning right onto Meeker and pass the hospital.  Third street turn right onto Camino Del Sol and proceed one and a half blocks.  Midway on right hand side is an empty lot then a white stucco building with AZ seal.  Classes are held at the other end of building--PORA in big black letters on the side of that east end of building. Parking at each end and behind.
Coming from east on Bell---enter by turning right onto RH Johnson,(entrance is curvy wall and flowers) proceed to Camino del Sol (just past SAFEWAY at Wells Fargo Bank) and turn left. About four blocks west on Camino del Sol you will see white stucco building with PORA on wall and parking area.
